Lovely shorts, but run small

The shorts are a beautiful vibrant color, the quality of the fabric is great, my son likes the pockets. I took off a star because they run small.

My son is very solidly wearing 5T and inching up to size 6, average size. I bought these in a size 6 so they would be a bit big and he could wear them longer but when I put them on him they are too tight. He wore them anyway but I immediately went on the site to try to get them in like an 8 but they are sold out in all the colors :(.
