Looks great

I think it will be great. Closure prob will be hard for a 5 yr old. Bought a bombers hat, goggles and scarf to make it a pilots outfit. Will sew a Canadian flag on it. Fun dress up and jacket will be great for warmer winter days and this spring. Bought a 7-8 it will just fit nicely for an average 5 yr old so I found the sizing a tad smaller.

Super soft and adorable

Its exactly like the picture! Soft corduroy outer jacket with teddybear fleece lining everything except the sleeves. I do wish it was a little more of a winter coat and less of a jacket. Its just too cute to not use all winter. I recommend it! Super soft and we'll made! Also, It does have button closure incase you have a kiddo who struggles with them.( My son has Autism so its something he struggles with.) Also I got this in an amazing sale!

Has Buttons!

It’s beautiful! Amazing quality. But please be aware that this has button closure, not zippers or snaps! And the buttons are pretty tight. I have to return this and get the other olive green Highland jacket because my son can’t button this up without my help, so it definitely can’t go to school.

So cute but too small

The jacket is so cute ! Not too heavy , just right for a fall day . My Grandson is a big boy , he weighs 78 lbs and is 46 inches tall . I ordered a size 12 . It is a little snug and with a sweater on it would definitely be too tight. Hope this helps
